Terms of Use

The ground rules for using NRiSimplify.

Plain-English terms that govern this website, our calculators and our advisory services. Last updated June 2026.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of this website, its calculators and tools, and any advisory services offered by NRiSimplify Pvt. Ltd. (“NRiSimplify”, “we”, “us”).

By browsing this website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

2. Who we are

NRiSimplify is an India-based advisory firm helping Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) manage India-linked tax filing, property sale, legal, banking and repatriation matters. References to our team include our Chartered Accountants, lawyers and engagement staff.

3. What this website provides

This website is an information and enquiry platform. Through it you can:

  • Read about the services we offer and how we work.
  • Use free calculators and tools that produce indicative estimates only.
  • Submit an enquiry so that our team can contact you to discuss your situation.
  • Book a free consultation call.

Using the website, our calculators or our enquiry forms does not by itself create a client relationship. A client relationship begins only when we and you sign a written engagement letter setting out the specific service, scope and fee.

4. Information, not professional advice

The content on this website — including articles, guides, calculator outputs and chatbot responses — is provided for general information only. It is not tax, legal, financial or investment advice, and it does not take account of your individual circumstances.

You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of website content alone. Always obtain advice tailored to your situation before making a decision. See our full Disclaimer for more detail.

5. Calculators and tools

Our calculators (TDS, capital gains, residency, repatriation and others) are simplified models built on our reading of current Indian law. They are intended to give you a rough order-of-magnitude estimate and a sense of the questions that matter.

  • Results are estimates, not assessments, certificates or filings.
  • Tax law, rates and thresholds change; a tool may lag a recent change.
  • Your actual position depends on facts a calculator cannot capture.

Do not rely on a calculator output for any filing, transaction or remittance without confirming it with us or another qualified professional.

6. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use our services. By using the website you confirm that the information you provide about yourself is true and that you are submitting it on your own behalf or with proper authority.

7. Your responsibilities

When you use this website and our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and current information.
  • Use the website lawfully and not attempt to disrupt, scrape, overload or gain unauthorised access to it.
  • Keep any documents or credentials we share with you during an engagement confidential.
  • Make your own decisions, having taken appropriate advice, about your tax, property and financial matters.

8. Fees and engagement

Indicative prices shown on the website are for guidance and may change. The fee that actually applies to you, the scope of work, timelines and payment terms are set out in the written engagement letter you sign before we begin. In the event of any conflict, the engagement letter prevails over the website for the work it covers.

9. Intellectual property

The NRiSimplify name, logo, website design, written content, calculators and tools are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish, resell or build a competing product from our content or tools without our written permission.

10. Third-party links and tools

The website may link to or embed third-party services (for example scheduling, chat, analytics or payment tools). We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.

11. Limitation of liability

The website and its free tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from:

  • Reliance on general website content or calculator estimates.
  • Any interruption, error or unavailability of the website or embedded tools.
  • Decisions you take without obtaining advice tailored to your circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Our responsibility for paid advisory work is governed by the engagement letter for that work.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify NRiSimplify against any claim, loss or expense arising from your misuse of the website, your breach of these Terms, or information you provide that is inaccurate or that you were not authorised to share.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence, the courts at our registered office in India will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the website or these Terms.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in law, technology or our practice. The current version is always the one posted on this page with its effective date. Your continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
