Gaurav Matta is the Co-Founder of NRiSimplify, a specialised platform transforming how Non-Resident Indians manage Indian real estate and cross-border financial matters. His work is centred on one idea: that complex transactions should be managed through coordinated execution rather than fragmented advisory.
Over the past decade, Gaurav has worked extensively with global Indians navigating property ownership, taxation, banking, FEMA regulations, documentation and fund repatriation. Through these engagements he observed that the greatest challenge for NRIs was rarely a lack of professional expertise, complexity arose because taxation, legal advisory, banking, real estate and compliance were often handled independently, despite every decision influencing the next.
This insight became the foundation of NRiSimplify.
Before co-founding the platform, Gaurav played a key role in expanding the NRI advisory practice at Brivan Consultants, where the leadership team has been assisting NRIs since 2012. As client needs evolved beyond taxation into complete transaction management, he helped develop an integrated execution framework connecting multiple disciplines into one structured process, a philosophy that eventually became NRiSimplify in 2025.
Today, NRiSimplify supports clients across more than 20 countries and manages transactions spanning over 100 cities across India. By bringing taxation, legal advisory, banking, FEMA compliance, remittance and real estate execution under one coordinated ecosystem, the platform helps NRIs make informed decisions with greater transparency, predictability and confidence.
Prior to entrepreneurship, Gaurav built a career spanning consulting, strategy and brand leadership. He began with global consulting firm Evalueserve, working on international assignments across diverse markets, then led Brand, Marketing and Public Relations at Hero Cycles, one of India's most recognised consumer brands.
Today, Gaurav leads NRiSimplify's strategic direction, brand, partnerships, technology initiatives and international expansion. He is an active voice on NRI real estate, taxation, FEMA, banking and cross-border compliance, advocating for a more integrated approach to India-linked transactions.
His vision extends beyond simplifying property transactions, he believes the future of professional services lies in replacing fragmented advice with coordinated execution, a trusted ecosystem where NRIs can manage every India-linked financial decision through one integrated platform.
